I am planning to build a in-out gate entry system using jotforms. Is it possible if an "In" entry is filled. second "In" entry for the same ID should be restricted. until a out is being filled. Tried looking at condition option and could not come up with plan.

Also would like to know if I make a QR code of a prefilled data then I need to make one IN & One out QR code. Can one QR code do it If we have two different id's logged to scan. or some other suggestion.

Alternative can we have mobile barcode scan during form fill to fill the data. So we just scan the ID and click in or out before submit

To my understanding, you would like to use the form as a means to know if a respondent has timed-in or timed-out. Initially, you can have your respondents fill up an empty form and make them receive an edit link where they can change the value of a field from "In" to "Out" and vice-versa. — How-to-Let-Users-Update-Their-Form-Submissions-at-a-Later-Date

As for using QR Codes, we have a way to publish/embed the form as a QR Code that can be scanned to load the form.

Then, you can update the URL when creating the QR code for your form to prefill the form when the QR code is scanned.

However, you need to generate one QR code for "In" and one for "Out".

Also, can you give us more details about the following, please?

    1. Is it possible if an "In" entry is filled. second "In" entry for the same ID should be restricted. until a out is being filled.

    2. Can one QR code do it If we have two different id's logged to scan.

We will wait for your response.
