    How do I remove a field on your pre-created forms?

    Asked by wootabeger on December 03, 2012 at 02:46 AM

    I am using one of your pre-created Contact forms for my client's website. Their business will always stay within the United States so it is not neccessary for their customer to select which country they are from.  In fact they probably do not even need to select the state.

    I believe I found under the properties of that form the ID for those fields.  However, I do not know how to tell the form to make that ID "Not Appear" on the form.

    I was hoping there was an easeir way to delete a field on this form?

    Can you help, thanks.

    Hi Craig,

    This are the ID and codes you need to inject to your form to hide Country and State section of your address field;

    #input_4_country, #sublabel_country, #input_4_state, #sublabel_state {

    display: none;

    Country Selection ID: input_4_country

    Country Sub-Label ID: sublabel_country

    State Box ID: input_4_state

    State Sub-Label ID: sublabel_state

    Please Take Note:

    -If you will make the Address field as "REQUIRED", you user will get an error that the said field is required. That is because the state and country are just hidden, they aren't totally removed.

    -If you'd like to make the field as required but still need the state and country to be hidden, the best way to do it is to embed your form using full source codes and remove each one by one.

    Another option is to replace the address field with text boxes and label them one by one by the remaining items such as Address Line 1 and 2, City and Postal/ZIP Codes.
