How to make matrix have different input fields?

Asked by guest_23341695786061 on December 03, 2012 at 03:45 AM

I can pull out the form and modify it using html to make a field such as this example:

    Question   |  Yes  |  No  | Comment

    1.

Yes and No should be answerable by a radio button, but the comment box should be area text. I modified the field but the problem is the email report, its not showing and I cannot modify it since the field is only using the { } tag. Any idea how to solve this aside from not using the matrix at all? Thanks.

Hello.  Unfortunately, this is not possible to mix two different types of input for the matrix even if manually code the HTML source.  You can still probably use the matrix for your Yes/No question but you will have to use a textbox field for your comments.
