Can you stop new submissions while still allowing previous submissions to be edited?

I have a registration form and I would like to no longer allow new registrations, but still allow people who have previously signed up to edit their information. Is this possible?

    Thank you

If the form is disabled, unfortunately, it is not possible to load the form and thus not possible to edit the submissions as well. However, you may consider hiding the Submit button or hide all the fields on the form and display a message using a Text field so that the form shall be active and submissions can also be edited.

    Hope this information helps!

I'm confused. If I hide the submit button or the fields as well, then how can previously submitted answers be edited and saved? In my testing, those fields don't show to be edited and you can't save changes.

You can add a condition to show your submit button when editing your form.

First, you hide your submit button.

I have added a short text entry field and hide it.

As long as the short text entry field has no entry the submit button will not show.

Second, you add the Get Page URL widget.

Third, we add the condition if the web page URL has edit on it, we will show the short text entry.

Here is a sample submission link:https://www.jotform.com/edit/4087940042915801613?utm_source=emailfooter&utm_medium=email&utm_term=82106802853959&utm_content=edit_submissions&utm_campaign=notification_email_footer_submission_links&email_type=notification

Please give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Thank you.
