Required field is not working properly

Asked by qcare on December 04, 2012 at 07:50 PM

My form uses the quicktool address widget. I have the address set to required. Even though all the inputs are filled out, it still throws a required error. Tow of the inputs are set to display none as I don't need state or country. This form was working correctly and now simply won't work. The required error gets thrown every time on the address inputs.

    Hi,

The State and Country fields are just hidden, they aren't totally removed as advice lately (If i'm not wrong).

You need to embed the form using the full source codes, removed the State and Country items from the codes. This will solved the issue.

    Thanks

I just checked this within jotform and you are right. I have to do what you suggest. Makes it more of a pain to change the form after thet fact. Perhaps I'll just dump the quicktools address part and do it manually.

If you don't like to embed the full source codes, then yes, remove the address field and separate them one by one using the Text Box field and label them individually.

    Thanks
