Jotform APP: Field multiplier widget is not decrypting

    Hi, i wanna ask, why if any somebody add the submission in my form, then i open it from iphone, there is appear the code like photo attached example: for name, why appear code like this? If open from laptop, there is no problem

    The form encryption option is enabled on your form, so that the form data is encrypted. You will need to sync your private key to the iOS App to be able to see decrypted data. Please follow the next guide:

    there is no change after i follow your steps. The code still like the photo i send before.

    To clarify, did you find your private key?Have you tested to view the submission in your submission panel using your PC/Mac?

    Kindly tap the key icon on top of your menu.

    This should decrypt the submission.

    Do note that you have to close the APP after adding the key.

    Please give it a try and let us know if the issue remains.

    To clarify, you can view your encrypted submission however, when you add a field multiplier an error occurs?

    Is this the form you're working on https://www.jotform.com/81812851790461?

    May we know what error code appears when you add a field multiplier?

    Is this error happening only when you view the submission in your Jotform APP?

    i have tried it on collaboration form. Should i copy the joyform.key in every form to my itunes?

    Please note that you do not have to copy it in every form, there is no such option. The encryption key file needs to be copied into the Jotform App under the file sharing in iTunes.

    i have follow the steps, and still appear the code but not at all parts. what should i do? the last time i have tried it appear in field multiplier.

    If you have followed the steps correctly and uploaded the Jotform key file in iTunes, it should decrypt the submissions with out any problem. 

    The only issue I can think of is that you are not using the correct Jotform key file. Are you able to use this key file to decrypt the submissions in your form's submission page?

    For encrypting submissions this is not possible. If you used a specific key to encrypt submissions, all submissions received when that key is active will require that specific key to decrypt the submissions.

    To check if you are using the correct submission key, go to your form submissions page and when prompted to input the key to view the submissions.

    As for the app, you can uninstall it and set it up afresh. Make sure you keep the encryption key.

    Can you please explain further what error does the field multiplier encounter? Does it give out an error message?

    Are the submission data in the field multiplier not showing when decrypted?

    I have tested a sample form with the field multiplier but I can't seem to find any error.

    However, when I encrypt the multiplier widget, it will only let me see how many fields was created and not the values inside the field.

    Let us know your thoughts.

    As explained earlier that if the submission data is still being displayed encrypted, that means you are not using correct Jotform encryption key.

    Please note that if you have disabled encryption and enabled again, the new encryption key will not decrypt the older submissions. It will only decrypt the new submissions you received after you enabled encryption again. 

    Are you able to use the same encryption let to decrypt the submission from your form's submission page?

    i haven't try to encrypt key again. What should i do with my condition right now? With the multiplier that provide link still with the code?

    To clarify, some submissions are decrypted already however, the mutliplier field is still encrypted ?

    After further testing, I have replicated the issue on your form www.jotform.me/form/81805641090453

    The multi line question "Provide all your social media account links which you choose above ex: http://...." is not being decrypted by the app.

    I will forward this issue to our back-end team for further checking.
