    Asked by guest_23388642402049 on December 04, 2012 at 10:32 PM

    Hello,

    I am using a contact form template from the gallery and the form is to narrow and I need to widen the fields on the form. I cannot seem to figure out how  to widen the fields. Is this possible on a extisting template? Or tell me how to create a wide contact form please.

    Thank you!

    Hi Billy,

    What form template is it, please? Let us know the form URL so we could check and explain or give you the solutions.

    Basically, you just need to click on the field and click "Size" button and change the value;

    Thanks

    Hi Welvin,

    I figured out how to widen to fields on the contact form, thanks, but now I have a problem trying to place my Comments text area message box to the right of the input fields. In other words I have on the contact form the  Name, Email, Address, etc. on the left and I am wanting the Comments text box to be on the right side, therefore creating a wide contact form. The problem is when I create the Comments text box, it will not stay to the right. It "bounces" back under one of the left input fields, causing the form to become a long form again, which is not what I want. I even tried widening the forms width thinking that would work, but it does not.

    How do I keep the text box area to stay put to the right, even though it's height (rows) is larger than the single line field boxs on the left (causing the Comments text area box to bounce back under a left-sided input field?

    Thanks for your help!!

    Hi Billy,

    How about using this guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/90-Field-Positioning

    Let us know if you have done this so we can adjust the padding of the other fields to go up.

    Thanks
