How can I pre-qualify someone before allowing them to register?

I need to pre-qualify each registration as there is no fee for attendance. How can I do that? I have set up the registration form, but I want them to receive a thank you saying this is an application not a registration. Once, we verify that you are a family office, we will confirm your registration

I would like to keep the same form, and confirm to the individual that they can attend.

    How can i do that?

    Hope this is clear?

So, is it like an approval process? Say, the user fills and submits the form, then you receive the submission, and verify it, if it is approved/verified to be a family office, the user receives a notification letting him know that he can attend.

If that is correct, you can apply the basics of the following workaround: https://www.jotform.com/help/432-A-General-Approach-on-Building-an-Approval-Process-Workflow
