    IE 9 CSS code not working for custom submit buttons

    Asked by EduardoMendez on December 06, 2012 at 03:20 PM

    Question from E-mail

    I am testing my website before I go live and I noticed that in IE9, my custom button background is not showing.
    Please see screenshots. No problem for google chrome and firefox.
    This is the css for my form:
    #input_9, #input_reset_9 {
    cursor: pointer;
    -moz-border-radius: .5em;
    -webkit-border-radius: .5em;
    border-radius: .5em;
    padding: 8px 10px;
    color: white;
    font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    font-size: 10px;
    font-weight: bold;
    text-shadow: 1px 1px 0px #222222;
    border: 1px solid #6E0B8D !important;
    -moz-box-shadow: inset 0px 1px 0px 0px #ffffff;
    -webkit-box-shadow: inset 0px 1px 0px 0px #8514A2;
    box-shadow: inset 0px 1px 0px 0px #936594;
    background: #936594;
    background: -moz-linear-gradient(top, #936594 0%, #000000 100%);
    background: -webkit-gradient(linear, left top, left bottom, color-stop(0%,#936594), color-stop(100%,#000000));
    background: linear-gradient(top, #936594 0%, #000000 100%);
    filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient(startColorstr='#ededed', endColorstr='#dfdfdf', GradientType=0 );
    Could you kindly check this for me, please?

    Injecting the following code should fixed it.

    filter:none !important;
