Is there a way to aggregate data from previous entries from the same person into a field?

    Hi there,

We're a retail clothing company hoping to migrate our end of day reporting system for retail employees to JotForm. We are looking for a form that will allow us to input monthly goals that will automatically populate onto the form for each unique store every month as well as calculate a MTD sales based on adding up previous entries from the form only within the time frame of the month in question. This will allow us to automatically show both the people inputting data as well as our sales manager recipients to see % of monthly goal accomplished.

Is this possible using one of the many JotForm integrations?

    Hello,

Unfortunately, we do not have any direct option to aggregate data from previous entries from the same person into a field. Also, I am not sure if I can understand your query in full. We have an option to prepopulate forms: Prepopulating-Fields-to-Your-JotForm-via-URL-Parameters

Also, you could use one of available reports to see % of monthly goal accomplished: How-to-Create-Form-Reports-in-JotForm

We could also check for other useful features if you provide us some more information on what you need to achieve.

    Hi Victoria,
Basically we are looking for an EOD reporting system that helps give the stores an idea of where they are WHILE filling it out. I.E. they would type in todays says and something would automatically tell them $X amount more dollars to make your goal. Does that give a better picture?

I assume the monthly goal on your form is based on something, for example a formula you may have. If so, you may perform calculations on your form, this way you may get the goal amount based on what the user has typed in.

This guide will provide you more details about how to do it:  https://www.jotform.com/help/259-How-to-Perform-Form-Calculation-Using-a-Widget

You may also allow them to edit the submission later on, this guide will help you doing so: https://www.jotform.com/help/40-How-to-Let-Users-Update-Their-Form-Submissions-at-a-Later-Date

    I hope this helps.
