How to reset the Unique Number widget to the number that is missed in Form submissions?

I have had to delete runner number bib 61 as they entered our race in error. As no one had entered after him I expected bib number 61 to be allocated to the next entrant but in fact it has allocated bib 62 to him, so bib number 61 is now unused. can you advise how I should have dealt with this to ensure continuity of number allocation, if this is possible?

I investigated this in my cloned version. Since you have used Unique Id widget as your Bib number so if any entry is deleted it cannot be restored in the next entry as it is auto incremented unless you reset this counter if you have deleted any entry.

For example, if Bib number 61 is deleted you may reset the counter here from 61 in order to get the submission again from this number.
