How to scan a [barcode] into a specific "text"box in a form?

Hello,

Not sure if this is even something that would pertain to jotform itself, or it there are other technical requirements needed that fall outside of Jotform capabilities.  Anyrate, if I had a "text"box input field on a form, that would normally require you to enter 7 or 8 digits that are visible below a corresponding barcode by using a keyboard, on or off screen, if it would be possible to click on that same field, and then somehow get it to pull the numbers using an installed barcode scanner app on the phone/ipad using the camera?  Again, sorry if this is way out of the realm of possibility just due to the technical involvement needed, but I've been so impressed with the jotform capabilities in other ideas I've had, I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

As far as I understood, you want to read QR codes, if that is correct, you can use the QR Code Reader: https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/qr_code_reader 

Thanks.  That is great and didn't know it existed.  The barcode I have is a code 128 not QR so it will not pick it up. Are you aware of any similar widget that might work for Code128?

We do not have a widget that works with code 128 barcode, we  may however open a feature request if you want, please note that we cannot provide an ETA or ensure the feature will be implemented, but we would keep you updated via this thread.
