I need to upgrade from bronze to silver plan but it is charging me full amount instead of the difference.

    Hello,

    I paid for the Bronze membership 1 week ago.  I didn't realize it only allowed for 10 payments so I now need to upgrade to the Silver membership.  When I go to upgrade it is charging me the full $19.50 (I get the education discount).  But since I just paid $9.50 last week, shouldn't I just get charged the difference of $10 to upgrade to the next level?  Had I realized the 10 payment limit, I would have done the silver from the start and been charged $19.50, but with the system not making the adjustment, I'm paying $30 for the silver since I just paid last week.


    Can you help explain why it is charging me the full amount rather than just the difference?

    I am sorry for the trouble caused to you. I did check your account and found that you have paid through your PayPal account. Please note that because of the PayPal limitation, it is not possible to automatically cancel or upgrade subscription to higher plan and process prorated refund.

    I would suggest you to please go ahead and upgrade your account to silver monthly plan. Do get back to us after you upgrade your account and we will initiate refund for your bronze subscription payment.

    Thank you so much for your help.  I went ahead and upgraded to the silver plan.  If you could process the refund that I can apply to next month, I would appreciate it.

    Your Bronze subscription that was paid through your PayPal account has been refunded. Please make sure to log in to PayPal and cancel your subscription number I-AYV2S4A00U91, in order to prevent double charges in the future.
