Hi
We print multiple of your forms as part of our business and spent many hours formatting them to meet our organisational needs. However the forms have started printing out showing fields that are empty even though the option to hide them is selected. The formatting has also all changed.
Please can you advise asap how this can be rectified?
thanks
Katie

If you were using the default PDF submission layout, you can try resetting it: https://www.jotform.com/help/384-How-to-Customize-PDF-Submissions-Report
Also, make sure to have selected the "Hide empty fields" option at your submissions page: https://www.jotform.com/help/269-How-to-View-Form-Submissions

Hi
Thanks for getting back to me. As mentioned we already have the auto hide empty fields selected and there was a lot of work that went into formatting some of the PDFs so resetting to the default is not an option to resolve.
Are you able to help further?
thanks
Katie

Thank you for additional information, I did a test submission in your form (please ignore the submission).
And this is the PDF I got:
Could you point us to the fields that are not showing properly and how you want your PDF to look (what changed)?

Hi thank you so much forgetting back to me. It is so strange because the format that you have generated is exactly how I form used to look. But when we generate a PDF we get the version that is depicted in the image I posted above in the initial post .
How can we revert to the version you have posted? It seems they have changed to the new format which does not meet our business needs.
i will login on my computer now and see how your submission appears at our end

Hi
I have just logged in and checked multiple forms and the layout appears to have returned to its original state...which is great!
However how do I know this won't happen again? It caused alot of issues in our organisation today and I am still unclear as to what triggered it and what resolved it. I did go into the new PDF editor and selected return to old version however it didn't actually ever appear to revert back. Would this have been the trigger with a delayed reaction??
thanks
Katie

Hello Katie,
I have checked your account and can see that it was switched to use the old pdf designer. This means that the pdf files for new submissions will have the same layout as test submissions by my colleague.
Please let us know if you need any further assistance.
