JotForm pricing: What are the different plans offered?

I have a form attached to our website where the customer clicks on one or more buttons to select what they want to buy. The Register button then takes them to the payment section which is linked to PayPal. Can someone explain what is meant by the number of submissions allowed? I assume the number of payments allowed is the payments to PayPal. I just need to work out which plan I need to upgrade to for a period of 3 months.

As a free user, you are allowed to receive up to 100 submissions(total responses received in the forms), 3 Payments per month. The forms will be disabled if any of these limits are exceeded including allotted file storage during the month.

The submissions counter, payment limit will be reset on the first day of every month.

Please refer to the following screenshot for the details of the different pricing:

So am I correct in thinking that in my case the number of submissions and the number of payments must always be the same? The customer will always tick one or more boxes and make a payment.

Or is there a situation where this is not the case?

I am still not entirely sure what the definition if a "submission" actually is.

Here's the difference between submissions and payment submissions:

Submissions Received (monthly): This is the number of submissions you can receive on a monthly basis. The count covers the calendar date which means 1st day to last day of the month. You can check this guide on how to create an online form.

Payment Submissions (monthly): This is the number of submissions that have payment integrations on them. You can check this guide on how to create a payment/order form. So for example, we have Paypal payment integration on our form, if a user fills out the form, submitted it and successfully completed the payment, then that would be counted as a payment submission.

Related to the topic: we also reset the monthly limits back to 0 every first day of the month.
