Hi JotForm,
We have a requirement to append data into a forms Edit URL.
The purpose is for us to show an [edit log] on the form.
What we do is set a workflow to be triggered everytime the form is submitted via a webhook. This workflow takes the name from the [Your Name] field and combines it with the Date/Time and creates a string like this:{{Your Name}} - Updated form ({{date/time}})
We then set the workflow to update a comments field on the form with this string so that everytime we open the form and submit it we see the submit history for this form.
We also set the API to clear the [Your Name] field so that its ready to take a new input again.
The issue we have though is that JotForm Edit links do not support data being appended from the URL.
As you can see here: https://www.jotform.com/edit/4101249306422602197?yourName=Joe+Bloggs
The form will load the name and then in a microsecond its erased from the form.
This feature is important for us so we really need this enabled.
Thank You -
