Here is our company's signup form:

    https://www.haircompounds.com/pages/create-an-account

Please try opening the link from Instagram in iOS. When the form opens, the user has the option to upload a document. On an Android device, the document uploads successfully. However, in case of iOS, once a file is selected for upload the whole page refreshes without the file being uploaded.

Everything works fine on Desktop for all browsers. The upload widget also works for Safari browser on iOS, it is just the Instagram in-app browser that is raising the issue

    Steps to test:

    1. Direct message the link https://www.haircompounds.com/pages/create-an-account on Instagram to somebody

    2. Click on the link

    3. skip to the form upload widget. Select any file (jpg, png, etc.) and upload it

Result: the page refreshes with no file uploaded

    Please help

Unfortunately, I do not have an iOS device to fully test this form as you have described. So, I have forwarded this to our back-end team. You will be updated via this thread.

    Hi there,

It appears that this issue is a known file upload bug that is inherent to instagram's iOS browser.

Unfortunately, at the moment we could not find a workaround to this other than adding a text on your form to ask your users to use a different browser to access your form.

We'll let you know if and when a fix is provided by Instagram.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Regards,
