While working on 52745887899988 all of a sudden all my injected css code vanished. Luckily I thought ... I have it published on my PC so I can view the source and copy it back in. Well that helped with some of the formatting but not all. I went into the Design editor and attempted to edit the input fields shape and background and nothing worked. Then I tried the Check Box, radio button options and nothing I selected would work.

Then I thought of using the revision History revert and this appeared.

So now what are my options for recovering this form ... HELP PLEASE!

    Desperate, Robert

I am so sorry about this situation.

I have found a cloned form of yours in my trash folder: https://form.jotform.com/82086038023956

Isn't it the same form? I thought you could copy the codes from it.

Can you please check if this helps?

We would gladly help to investigate why this happened. Could you please provide us some more information on what changes did you perform?

    Hi Victoria,

Yes this is a clone with some fields removed  I could try that and see what happens... I see you looking at the problem form now

    Hi,

I Can't find the form you show on my forms page... I see two others though under the fest folder. I wish the form number was displayed here.

Apologies for misunderstanding, Robert. This form is at my account. I have cloned it a long time ago when assisting you previously.

Please clone it to inspect: How-to-Clone-an-Existing-Form-from-a-URL

Meanwhile, I have tried replacing the code at a broken form (I have cloned it too), but it does not seem to help.

We would appreciate if you share any information on how this could happen.

OK... All is good.. Back to original... thanks for the clone.

So First off I have been modifying a number of my forms appearance. Until now I had no problems. Form 72206084769967 is one example. I reverse the forground and background colors. remove the logo from the header and add it to the body.

Then I change the font colors and edit some of the css code for the new appearance. It was at that point that all the css code disappeared. So as I said I had the form published and viewed the source code. I copied the code back into the form and it came back to almost  what it was. The input fields and the radio buttons appeared as default. I opened the designer and tried to change them but nothing would happen.

Then I tried to paste in all the css code not just my injected... that had little effect.

Then I tried to use the history to go back and it failed.

Then I pressed the PANIC button and called for help.

That's it... If it can be broken I will do it.

I hope that bit of info help to solve the problem.

Now I have to verify that my integretation is working properly... I certainly hope so...

    Regards, Robert

I'm still wondering how did you revert it back, but gladly the form has correct styling again. I assume form theme could be somehow changed.

Since the form fields were on the form during this glitch, the integrations should be still running.

But, of course, it is always better to make sure testing.

Please let us know if you face further difficulties.

    Thank you for updating us!

    Hi Victoria,

Well it was a lot easier then I imagined. I just copied the css into the broken form, changed the form back to red and a white background. Put the logo back.... then went into form designer.

As the designer opened all the fields and radio buttons formatted as they were before the crash. I didn't have to do a thing.

Magic I guess.  Sorry I can't be of more help, but this is exactly what occurred.

    Regards, Robert

    Hi,

I am a bit concerned though... If I look at the revision history it shows a year ago with the error message I inserted above.

Another "glitch" ? or part of the same one.
