    Hi Sandy2121,

Sorry for the inconvenience that may have caused. The reason why you didn't receive any email notification of your form is you don't have email alerts/notification of your form. To solve this, what I want you to do is create a notification of your form. Please take a look at this guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/25-Receiving-Emails-on-Form-Submissions

    Thank you!

HI, I am having the same problem, and it just started this morning. Last night I was receiving notifications and now I am not. Not receiving autoresponder messages either when tested.

Help! Notifications and autoresponder appear set up okay.  https://secure.jotform.us/form/23443322976153

    Hi Beth,

Your form notifications settings is a bit wrong, you have to separate the recipients with comma then space.

    Example: vincecudz@gmail.com, vince@gmail.com

    Please also try changing your form notifications Sender Email to noreply@jotform.com ;

Please get back to us for results.

    Thanks

What about the autoresponder? Why did that not work? I had the noreply@jotform in there already. Both of these (notifications 1 and autoresponder) were working last night as they were.  I am finding Jotform to be pretty darn quirky.

Also, why is the form allowing me to enter more words than the text limit in the text entry box? I am not cutting a pasting into it, I am typing directly into it and it is taking more words than the limit.

    Thanks, Bethj

    Hi Bethj,

I am sorry for the confusions or any that you feel bad with this issue that you are experiencing.

Can you please try changing the noreply@jotform.com to your form Auto Responder to your own email address?

You have the Contact Email field as the Recipient to your form Auto Responder, and there is another email field for the Company so please be sure to check the contact email for the Auto Responder.

    I also made a test to your form and I am able to get the form Auto Responder with the "Sender Email" as noreply@jotform.com;

    ----------------------

Also, why is the form allowing me to enter more words than the text limit in the text entry box? I am not cutting a pasting into it, I am typing directly into it and it is taking more words than the limit.

-Don't you see and error if you will exceed to the limit? I can see the error and with this, you will not be able to submit if you won't delete the existing words:

Is your concern is that, someone should not be able to add text anymore after the limit?  Let me know.

    Thanks

To add to my colleague's work,

I have run another test on a clone of your form:

    https://secure.jotformpro.com/form/23454168493965

I added your e-mail address and mine to the notification.  Did you receive an e-mail with it?

I tested the auto responder and after adding a recepient (there was no recepient assigned on your form) I was able to receive a responce (Note.. I did not complete the payment so the autoresponder was sent once I manually pusshed the incomplete payment - if a user was to make an actual payment, it would be automaticly)

These previous images are the Notification and Autoresponder set on the form:

As per the limit of the text area, it worked fine.  It did not let me submit an entry with more then 50 words:

Please giev the clone a try and let us know if you find it behaving in a way that it should not.

You can clone my clone and use it if you wish or simply make sure to add a recepient's address on your autoresponder and test it out.

Let us know if you received the test msg and if you need further assistance.  We'll be glad to help!

Thank you both for trying to help, but I am still totally confused. Last night they all worked last night in multiple tests as they are here. When I used my own email address instead of noreply@jotforms.com last night it did NOT work, so I changed it and then it did work, until this morning. Now it sounds like you are asking me to change it back? I really don't want to have to test this form every day, so have lost confidence here in it's reliability.

I did get the notification from Eduardo. But I am still completely confused though with what to put on the two different forms now and when to use my own email vs. noreply@jotform.com. Can you please tell me exactly what to put in the following fields on each form? If any of these are wrong, please let me know.

    Autoresponder:

Sender Name: Homeschool Maryland LLC (me)

Sender Email: noreply@jotform.com (last night I had my own email in here & never got notifications)

Recipient Email: contact email (not me)

    ---

    Notification 1:

Sender Name: contact name (not me)

Sender Email: contact email (not me)

    Recipient Email: info@homeschoolmaryland.com, info@homeschoolmontgomery.com (me)

As for the text box entry limit, it does give the pink error bar, but most text boxes like this cut off the person from actually entering the extra words.  That makes much more sense to users and eliminates frustration at the end when they can't submit the form and can't figure out why not.

Thanks so much for all your help! Beth
