We are submitting forms through the API, but we are not getting app push notifications or email notifications.
The form has been set to send form notifications. What have we missed?
I emailed api@jotforms.com but a week passed and nobody even acknowledged my email. -

We are sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused.
May we know the form in question?
You can check our API documentation at this link https://api.jotform.com/docs/
Can we have a sample submission in which no notification email was sent?
Thank you.

We have added several forms to our website, which we are submitting via the API. When we submit the API entry no submissions are generated.
Submissions occur if I use the form directly, just not through the API.
Thank you,
Karl

This is a form that sends me a notification:
https://submit.jotformeu.com/submit/82302543656354/
This is a site that posts through the API:
http://competitiongolf-organiser-dev.azurewebsites.net/contact-us
Both appear in the submissions, but I do not get a notification if the form is submitted through the API.

Kindly check your post method https://www.jotform.com/help/213-Send-Submission-Data-via-Post-Method-and-Thank-You-Settings
Unfortunately, my knowledge on the API is limited. The API team is better qualified to provide the solution your require.
I suggest you send your question again to the API team at api@jotform.com . With the Integrated API you are using.
Thank you.

Thank you for not reading my question.
I have a W already said that I did not get a response from the API team. I’m not sure how you think it would be helpful for me to contact them!!!

My apologies, may we know the Integrated API you are using to send notification?
Are you using POST API?
Have you tried configuring your notification email?

As I said above, if I use the form through a link I get a notification.
We have now changed the form to be a HTML form on our website that Posts the form data to JotForm. The data is submitted, but we do not receive a notification, either through the app or an email.
We know notifications are turned on, as we get them for forms where we share them with a link. -

Apologies for the inconvenience. I have read through your query and will attempt to answer it as follows:
We have now changed the form to be an HTML form on our website that Posts the form data to JotForm. The data is submitted, but we do not receive a notification, either through the app or an email
I noticed in your settings, you have checked the box to store your data in the EU. Try using the EU url https://eu.jotform.com link when making API calls. This is, however, a suggestion based on limited experience with the API. As my colleague mentioned please email the API team on api@jotform.com
We thank you for your patience.
There are other workarounds to receiving notifications. You can take a look at them on this link:

Thank you, but as I said I have emailed the API team and they did not respond.
I also set set up a zapier account, but notifications are not firing. They do work if I complete the form by sharing the form using a link.
We will look into it this more and will be back in touch if we don’t get anywhere.

I'll escalate this to see if there is a way to reach our API team faster. You should be updated via this thread.
