I'm doing mailbox registration online for a physical retail store. Is there a way to take pictures of the person's ID in the form. I understand you can attach it, but there must be a seamless process and I'm hoping you have it.

    Thanks,
    Amar

    Hello Amar,

Collecting photos of user's IDs would be a violation of Terms of Use, because considered as phishing activity:

Collecting Sensitive Information. You may not use the JotForm Service to collect certain types of sensitive information, including but not limited to, credit card information and any type of login credentials. You may collect some sensitive information such as social security numbers or driver’s license numbers, but you are required to use best security practices of JotForm, Inc. including SSL and Encrypted Forms features. You are solely responsible for compliance with any data protection and privacy laws and rules applicable to the sensitive information.

However, if you need to allow taking any other photos within your form, we have a Take Photo widget for that:

    https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/take_photo

This enables the form user to take a picture straight from the form using their webcam.

Please let us know if you need any further assistance.
