How can I adjust the way a date submission is shown to me?

Asked by ramentertainment on December 13, 2012 at 12:33 PM

I have a field on a form where someone can choose a date. I want my email notifiation to show this date as ex: 01/01/2013 and not ex: January 1 2013 as it currently does.

    How would I change this?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the format of that date field in your email notification.

In addition to what my colleague has stated the reason is because you are using the BirthDate Field and that particular field does not have the ability to do that therefore the only alternative you have to create what you are looking for would be to use the DateTime Field under your Power Tools instead and then you can just turn off the Allow Time option. This will field will show up the way that you'd like in your emails.
