Multiline question: Unable to set require/unrequire condition to Multi-Line questions

    Hi,

I'm building a form and am setting up the conditional logic and I'm running into a problem. I am wanting a 'Require/Unrequire' condition that checks the value of one field ('New' or 'Existing' customer) and then unrequires another field (Contact Details if 'Existing').

The problem is that the Contact Details field in question is not showing up in the list of fields that can be chosen (see attached screentshot), presumably because the field is a Multi-Line Question.

Is there a fix for this available or can you advise on a workaround?

    Thanks in advance.

I am able to see that the multiline question is not being displayed in the actions set for Require condition. Let me forward the thread to our backend team to investigate it further. If there is any update in this regard, you'll be posted here.

    Thanks!

    Hello boxergifts,

We have checked the issue which assigned by our support team.

The input field that you use in the form is a 'Multi-Line Question' field. We would like to inform you,  Jotform restricts the use of the related field ( named Contact Details) with the condition. This is because the related field does not support this programmatically.

Instead of using 'multi-field', you can add the text field and phone fields used as two separate fields and run the condition in this way.

We are saving the issue which you want to perform as a new feature request to our database. If there is any new development, we will inform you via this thread.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Regards
