I did not receive the response email for the security question which I filled?

    I submitted a few questions via the Security form on 9/7. I have still not received a response (it is 9/14). I was just using the live chat function with someone from the Support team who was not able to assist or give me contact information for someone who can. They left the chat without asking if there was anything else that could be done.

    This is not an issue with a form we created. I submitted questions via the Security Form last week regarding the following items related to Jotform's service: 

    Need contact name for an individual who manages our account:

    Need contact telephone number:

    Need contact email:

    What has access to data (name of department or position)?

    How is access to data controlled (password-protected? locked when not it use? Access limited to certain department or individual?)?

    How long is data retained?

    How is data destroyed when no longer needed?

    Could you please forward the email that you have received from us so that we could check the status of it. I am not aware of the Security Questionnaire form if it was sent from our team. I'll confirm with my team as soon as we receive your email.

We have various teams that could handle your account depending on the issue, for instance, an issue with billing related to your account will be managed by the billing team while a technical issue could be managed by our Level 2 developer team.     What has access to data (name of department or position)?

    Support Department, Billing Department, and DevOps have access to partial data on your forms. This is under strict guidelines and only when a request is made here by you granting permission to use the data to provide support should you have a query.

    This also depends on your accounts/forms privacy levels. If you have some forms that require full encryption of data, that feature is available.

    All this data is controlled is explained above through the guides. Access to your data is only done when you create a request and have an issue on your account looked into and fixed. i.e. for Support purposes only.

    How is data destroyed when no longer needed?

    Your data is retained as long as you do not delete it or your account. If you left your account dormant for a very long period on logging in your data will still be available on our servers.
