Passing Customer ID to Authorize.net

I'm currently using the Unique ID Widget to create a Customer ID for each submission. I'd like to pass that Customer ID over to Authorize.net during the payment. I tried to select the Customer ID in the Invoice Number Field, but it only sends over the starting Index number (000000070001) not the Current Index number (000000070014). I'm attaching part of the receipt emailed to me from Authorize.net. You can see the invoice number says 000000070001. I want it to have the ID for the Current Index. Any thoughts?

Pass the Customer ID field to a Short text entry field using conditional logic and then add this field to the Authorize.net Widget. It could be that the payment field is not picking the ID from the Customer ID field.

I tried that but it appears that the unique ID isn't generated until after submission so the ID never populates the Short text entry and the ID is not captured by Authorize.net. Any other ideas?

Yes your understanding it correct. Please note that unique ID is generated only after the form is submitted.

I would suggest you to please remove few "0" from the prefix option of your unique id widget and select it as "Invoice Number Field" of your authorize.net question to see if that solves your problem. Please check the screenshot below:

    Hope this helps.

wait... it's still not working correctly. Jotforms records the unique number as 70016 but Authorize.net records it as 70019. This is weird. Any ideas?
