    Hi Alidad,

I am sorry but we do not have field duplication check feature. That should be done on your side instead. Sorry about that.

    Thanks!

    hi Alidad,

its not possible to use an md5 hashed password.

Personally, I would recommend against using JotForm as a signup vehicle with username and password fields in your form.

I tried to solve problem with availability validation using jquery, is works great on my own forms but on your jotform, is not, please correct me if i'm doing wrong..

They are three files, one for database connection, one for ajax to process for checking user name, and other one is php files. however i put  jquery.js line and javascripts in jotform free text html box, does is this better way works is is better to put on my php file and use iframe! becuase currently i use iframe and both way is not working weahter to put javascripts on my php files or on jotform free text html box.

    please advice.

I also tried to figrue out what option do i have to make works with user name availability, beecause when people sign up as new member not use email as user name but plain text or number, they always check to make sure that user name are not taken, so it is important for jotform to create check user name availability to add that, becuase i tried every thing i could and did not solve it becuase is not working.

    any idea!

    Hi Alidad,

Unfortunately we do not have such feature yet. What you are doing seems to be so complicated and needs a custom programming skils which is beyond to our scope as a JotForm Support staff. However, I have submitted your request about the "unique value" on a specific field. It seems like a good addition to me, hope the higher ups will consider this for implemention. Unfortunately we can not provide any ETA when, if such feature will be added to our to do list. But rest assured, you will be informed here once it's rolled out.

    Thanks!

thank you so much for your response, i guess im out of optios but to drop this jotform, and i have to create my own. and yes i look foward to hear from you when come with new features.

I recommand to add new features to allow to add javascrips in html box to make works. that is most important part.

    thanks.
