    hi,

I am having a few issues with creating a graphic report:

    1. The matrix tool has a poor graphic representation. From reading the forum I understand this is a long standing issue. Any idea on when it will be resolved?

    2. The report editor has a certain length. When I fill it with three graphs, I can't add more graphs, because there isn't any room. Unlike the form editor, the report editor doesn't expand as the report grows.

    3. The Save button doesn't work. When i press on it, nothing happens, and the changes are not saved.

    4. Lastly, this contact page has no page title, which is un-professional.

Let me try to answer your questions to the best of my knowledge, but in the future, please open separate threads for your questions/suggestions. You may also search the forum for existing answers to the same questions.

    1. The matrix tool has a poor graphic representation. From reading the forum I understand this is a long standing issue. Any idea on when it will be resolved?

Unfortunately, us support staff are not privy to what our developers' prioties are. There are already at least two existing tickets for this issue, and I have also notified the developer assigned to the tickets about your query. We will inform you if and when this gets ultimately resolved.

    2. The report editor has a certain length. When I fill it with three graphs, I can't add more graphs, because there isn't any room. Unlike the form editor, the report editor doesn't expand as the report grows.

A visual report is designed to be printable. As such, it can only contain a single page, and can accommodate only two questions by default. It is possible to add more questions, but readability will be compromised.

What you can do instead is to create multiple visual reports and then name each report as something like, report page 1, report page 2, and so on.

There is already an existing request ticket for supporting multiple report pages. We are not sure if it is being prioritized though, because there is a very much viable workaround (suggested above).

    3. The Save button doesn't work. When i press on it, nothing happens, and the changes are not saved.

I can't reproduce this error on my end. Clicking the save button saves the changes applied to my report.  Can you please clear your browser's cache and try afterwards?

If the issue still persists, kindly open a separate thread for it so we can focus on this single issue.

    4. Lastly, this contact page has no page title, which is un-professional.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I will alert our developers to have this corrected.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your answer.

I cleared the browser cache (Firefox 17), to no avail. When I click the Save button, the Javascript console in Firebug has this error:

    TypeError: widget.select(...)[0] is undefined
    http://max.jotfor.ms/js/includes/reports.js?3.1.1152
    Line 286

setting a break point at that line shows that the select function returns an empty array, and so element [0] is not defined.

This does seem to work in IE9. surprisingly, after editing a report in IE, loading that same report in Firefox shows the report before the editing. quite confusing.
