How to properly align short text entry fields?

Hi Jot Forms team! 

I was curious to a problem that has arose while building my jot form. I've tried troubleshooting a variety of ways, but it doesn't seem to  change much. 

I've "shrank" short answer widgets and lined them up into columns. The problem is they are out of alignment when I preview the form, and I'd hate to send it out to a customer looking janky. 

If you could be so kind as to help me troubleshoot, I'd be appreciative. 

Please try to go to "Advanced Designer" tool and enable the columns to 2 or 3 columns.
