    Duplicated fields in Form Collapse

Asked by u3abenalla on December 20, 2012 at 08:08 PM

    Form viewable at: http://www.jotform.com/?formID=23527761117857

Membership allows for Single or Couple and Newsletter Emailed or Newsletter Posted.

If emailed the Email Address field is compulsory otherwise it is not compulsory.

If Single Membership there is One Applicant, One Gender, one Mobile, One Volunteer etc otherwise there will be two.

To get, say, the Applicant fields the original Applicant field was duplicated and inserted into each of the Collapse areas.

    The Problem:

Each of the duplicated fields result in multiple columns in the data.

    NOTE

Screenshot of data array not accurate to current form version. It is abbreviated for example

I think you could setup more than one email notification and establish conditional logics for that.

This way, you could include in the email body of each email alert just the fields involved according to the selected option

Please check this guide for further details

    Cheers!

    Something else:

You won't need form collapse to accomplish the desired results

    Edit

Here you have an example of a customized email alert
