Google Spreadsheet Integration Issue

    On my form I had to update the date field on two submissions. because I accidentally submitted after midnight so the date that I was recording for was a day ahead.

    That was not a problem, but when I reviewed my data and compared it to the data I had emailed myself from the initial submission, after editing the date at least 3 of my fields had subtracted one.

    For instance, here is the first (correct) entries:

    Stress:  2/10
    General Nutrition:  1/10
    Productivity Score:  16/100
    Whereas, here is what is there now, after only editing the date:
    Stress:  1/10
    General Nutrition:  0/10
    Productivity Score:  15/100
    Everything else is the same it seems... and I know these are the same data sets because they had text entries that are identical and unique.
    Why would changing the date cause all those other fields to decrement?
    Also, side note... is it the case that you cannot edit the google spreadsheet that a form outputs to AT ALL? Initially I tried just changing the days on my spreadsheet and then it killed integration. That is very inconvenient, especially if editing in the web version is going to have weird issues like this.

    Can you please confirm which date you had updated-- is it the time stamp date(submission date) or the log date field?

    How did you update - are you reffering to Edit when in the submissions page?

    Please try double check, then update us.


    Also, side note...

    You can edit a cell/rows in the spreadsheet -- as long as it is not the column/field name . Editing the mapped name/field in the integrated spreadsheet will surely break the integration. 

    Appending rows, editing an entry will not break the integration.

    I updated the log date field, not the time stamp

    I updated it in the spreadsheet, but as I said integration broke. So I went to the web site, hit my forms, clicked on the form, hit submissions, clicked over until I was on the form I wanted to edit, hit "Edit" button, changed the Log Date, and the scrolled down on the form and hit submit.

    After submitting the form goes blank so I have to click "my forms" again to get out.

    As for the integration, Like I said, I just edited the Log Date for the last two days, nothing else, and that seems to have broken integration. But I have had constant problems with spreadsheet integration, so I am wondering if there is some underlying problem at work.

    We apologize for responding this late and to the issue that you have encountered with your form.


    ...After submitting the form goes blank so I have to click "my forms" again to get out.

    -It seems that I am able to replicate this issue after editing the submission on the form submissions page. I have forwarded a report ticket for this issue to our development team but I cannot promise anything. We will get back to you as soon as we got updates.

    For the meantime, to make the integration works again, please kindly remove the current integration and re-integrate it again with Google Spreadsheets.

    The problem with the google spreadsheet integration is now fixed.
