I'm still having problems with emails going to wrong address

Asked by billj on December 23, 2012 at 05:13 AM

I just did a test submission at http://www.jotform.com/?formID=23303663647151

    I received 2 result emails:

one at admin@nascpe.com with the correct subject line (NASCPE directory), fields and data

the other at bill@paramedicalexam.com where the subject line was NASCPE certification and the fields were consistent with that form.

There shouldn't be an email sent to bill@paramedicalexam.com and, maybe even more imortantly, why is a different form being filled in at all?

I've been having problems with this for awhile and I'd like to get it resolved once and for all.

    Thanks

    Hi,

That's because you have two email notification's setup on that form with different email addresses. You have to delete the other one with the recipient email bill@paramedicalexam.com. That should correct it.

    Thanks!

    OK. Just an FYI:
I didn't create the 2nd and sometimes 3rd email addresses associated
with the different forms. When I saw them in the dropdowns I assumed
they represented a running list of email addresses I had for all the
forms. I don't know if they get added in automatically but if they do
Jotform should make users aware that that is happening to avoid confusion.
