Ability to integrate Google Tag Manager tracking with JotForms

Hi I'm working with a client using JotForm and trying to track form submissions using Google Tag Manager. However, it appears that since JotForm is embedded in an iFrame it cannot be tracked using javascript, is this correct?

Is there a solution you can provide that can help me track my form submissions in GTM?

If not, how is JotForms meant to be tracked? What's the method it was designed to use?

    Thanks for your help.

    Best,

    Roger

That is correct, we do not support JavaScript injections on forms due to security reasons. So injecting the code will not work.

What you could try is using the Full source code of the form and then add the script code to your own domain, together with the form's code.

    Could that work for you?

Thanks. I'll have to reach out to my dev and see what he thinks.

What's the standard form of tracking for JotForm for my knowledge? I'm surprised GTM isn't supported since it's so popular.

Generally, we have widgets to add to the forms for allowing the tracking codes or similar such as Google Analytics, Zuko (former Formisimo), etc. Let me forward the thread to our backend team as a feature request for evaluation. We cannot guarantee that the feature shall be implemented or cannot provide any ETA at this moment. If there is any update in this regard, you'll be posted here.

    Thanks!
