PDF: configurable list widget's layout is not responsive in the PDF copy of the submission

I'm puzzled why it takes a significant amount of time and effort to get the submissions and PDFs to mirror the format of the form. I've not really been able to achieve this to the degree I would like.

Attached are examples; showing the issue with formatting. The first attachment shows the body of an email notification. Notice the Configurable List Widget 'table' at the bottom throws the entire format out of whack. It makes the email really cumbersome and different to read.

The second attachment shows the same results in PDF format. However, instead of making the document as wide as the 'table', it simply cuts it off.

So, neither the email or the PDF is doing a good job of displaying the submission.

If I could at least get one of these to look right, then I could work around that.

    Thank you!

I'm sorry, but configurable list widget can be made responsive in the form, but it is not yet optimized to be the same in the PDF copy of the submission. I'm creating a ticket about it here instead. If we have an update, we'll let you know here.

    Hi Welvin,

So, in the meantime, is there a work-around? For example can the Configurable List Widget 'table' be stacked? Is there a way to attach and Excel version vs PDF?

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure if this one will work: https://www.jotform.com/help/457-How-to-Create-a-Customized-PDF-or-Google-Doc-for-Your-Submissions. I'm currently checking this. I'll keep you posted.

The AutoCrat method works, but I still cannot find a way to fetch the individual input values from the configurable list widget. There is a Split Data in Google Spreadsheet, but that would be a complex approach considering the length of the data from the configurable list widget.

The ticket is already assigned to our backend team. We do not give a timeframe to tickets, but as soon as we have an update, we'll let you know here.

    Hello Iritter,

We have implemented a change while displaying "Configurable List" widget if it has too much fields (Currently the 'too much' is 6 but it is subject to change in the following days). It actually sets a new edit option of this element to flip columns and rows (i.e transpose) of table.

For a more detailed fix for how to display table, like font sizes and alignments, the editor panel now can be used. Please feel free to comment on whether this solution works for you.

Thank you again for reporting us and sorry for the inconvenience we have caused.

My interface doesn't look like this. I don't have the same options. For example, your left navigation shows "Basic Elements" and "Form Fields". Mine shows "Basic", "Payments", and "Widgets". The right side of yours shows "Element Settings". Mine shows "Question Properties". I've never seen the interface you show in your screen shots.
