    CSS, Field Positioning: cant get adjacent form fields to line up

    Asked by Masalamedia on December 28, 2012 at 10:37 PM

    On this form...

    http://www.jotform.com/?formID=23555008812955

    ... I have height and weight entry fields (text fields) and a drop-down control to specify measurement units.

    If I set the label for the units field to be "LEFT" or "RIGHT", a fixed space is inserted and there is a huge gap between the number field and the units field.

    When the label is on top, and I enter " " because I don't want a label, this weird spacing problem occurs.

    Advice?

    Hi there,

    Here is a clone of your form:

    http://form.jotformpro.com/form/23629362163959?

    To accomplish this, simply choose the labels of the dropdowns to be aligned left.

    Once you have that, simply inject the following CSS code on the form:

    #label_88, #label_87{display:none;}

    Hope that helps.  Please let me know if you need further assistance!
