    Can I use Jotform as a script for promo codes

    Asked by WGISolutions on December 31, 2012 at 02:28 PM

    Hi,

    I am currently looking for a form that can allow my customers to check out on my website and use a promo code do so. I use Paypal Business for check out and they do not support the promo code options. I was told that I would have to find a program or form script that will transfer the discounted amount to paypal. Can you help me with this?

    Hello,

    There are 2 options I see with your issue. 1 You continue using paypal and when somebody adds a promo you refund or add on the discount manually to them or 2 get Google Checkout that allows promo codes to be entered before checkout is complete.

    Hi,

    Unfortunately, we don't have an option to add a promo codes into our Payment Integrations. You can used Google Checkout as Yasinco said because they allow you to add promo codes before the checkout is complete.

    A workaround I could offer is to create Multiple Payment Form;

    http://www.jotform.com/help/182-How-to-Create-a-Basic-Multiple-Payment-form

    http://www.jotform.com/help/120-How-to-set-up-paypal-along-with-other-payment-options

    Create a form with the discounted price and a form with the original size, embed them into one form as stated on the guide, then put a textbox and this will serve as your promo codes box, using our conditional logic tool (show hide/field condition), show the discounted price if the promo codes was correctly entered into the promo box.

    Let us know if you need assistance with this method. Thanks and thanks yasinco! :) Cheers!
