    How can we convert the unique ID of a submission into a barcode and insert it into the confirmation mail (e-ticketing)?

    What kind of confirmation e-mail? Confirmation about their form submission? Barcode of what? What kind of barcode?

    I hope the information below will solve your problem.

    You can create an autoresponder e-mail for your form. In that autorespopnder you can show what the user has entered. You can also add an Edit link (for editing their submission).

    Ok, to be more clear (English is not my natural language)

    Subject= Autoresponder Email to integrate Unique ID has a Barcode

    I would like to insert in the mail message the Unique ID as a Barcode.
    Why?
    To use barcode reader the day of the event and to have the possibility to read directly it from the confirmation email.
    is it possible ?

    To my knowledge, JotForm forms do not have that capability but it sounds like an interesting concept. Perhaps our developers can look at the possibility of writing a script to perform such a conversion.

    You can combine our new Unique ID feature with this online barcode script It will display a barcode image with a given number.

    In order to create a barcode on your form, follow the unqiue ID tutorial and create an ID field on your form. Then go to E-mail wizard and find out what is the name of your field. In this example lets call it {uniqueID}.

    Using E-mail wizard's HTML editor add an image to your e-mail and give the following link as an image source

    http://www.barcodesinc.com/generator/image.php?style=197&type=C128B&width=330&height=80&xres=2&font=4&code={uniqueID}

    Of course replace the {uniqueID} with your own fields name (generated by the e-mail wizard). When you receive a submission JotForm will replace this tag with a real value and this online barcode server will generate a barcode for you.

    Let me know if this works for you.

    Brilliant! Works like a charm in my tests. Hopefully, this solution fits move2nite's needs.
