Trello Power-up: be able to populate the custom fields in your Trello Card with data when Fill a Form option is selected.

Hi,

I'm using the JotForm power-up for Trello.  I have some custom fields in Trello we've already populated for a card.  When I go to fill out a new JotForm, it'd be nice to have some of this data pre-populated (i.e. the entry is duplicated in Trello and the JotForm I'm filling out). 

Is there a way to do this, by any chance?  It seems like a bit of a long shot, but it'd be incredibly helpful!

Can you please explain further how you want to per-populate the form with the data on trello?

Thanks for taking the time to follow up with me.  I apologize for not writing my use case clearly!

In my use case, I need to tie my JotForm entry to my Trello Card.  I have a separate process  with Zapier that automatically moves the card to a different column once the form is filled out.

In order for Zapier to do this, I need to provide the name of the Trello Card in the JotForm submission.  That is, I have a field in my JotForm called 'Trello Card Name' so I can create that link between the systems.  I access the JotForm from the Trello Card using the JotForm Power-up.

I also have some basic contact information that is collected in both the Trello Card (via Custom Fields power up) and the JotForm.  For example, I have Point of Contact Name and Point of Contact Phone Number in both.  If I could prepopulate the form with this shared information, it would reduce the amount of going back and forth between the card and JotForm.

Sorry, it's a bit convoluted!  I don't imagine the JotForm API would support this, since each form supports so much customization.

So basically you have some filled Custom Fields in your Trello Card, and then when you use the Fill a form JotForm Power-up option within the same Trello Card, you would like to populate the form fields with the Custom Fields Power-up data? Please confirm if this is a correct scenario, so we will be able to add a feature request ticket to our system.
