Unable to download docs file when "#" character is present in file name.

While testing my form everything worked fine except I was unable to download some .docx word files that I had uploaded into my form.  The filenames contained a non alphanumeric character #.

I made 3 attempts and then renamed the file removing the # from the filename and was able to download and open the file just fine.  I noticed that several people have had difficulties downloading .docs files.  Hopefully this solution will help you as well.

    Thanks

    Thank you for sharing this.

May I know from where are you trying to download the .doc file? I tried to replicate it on my end by adding "#" into file name then attached that file with my submission. I then downloaded it via email notification, submissions page and all seems to work.

Would you mind providing us the exact steps on how you replicate it? Also, should it be .doc or .docx? I've tried both and it seems to work on my end. Please also share to us the form where you replicate this behavior.

    Looking forward for your response.
