    Hi there

    I live in Taiwan (UTC/GMT +8) and I need to contribute a email form base on two drop-down sheets.

    One for time zone (cities), another for questions.

    Because of the day/work time (9:00am~5pm), I need senders who can send the mail to the right address by choosing the city.

    Let's say,

    Question A -> China(same time zone)   -> mail A1

                      -> USA(different time zone)  -> mail A2

    Question B -> China -> mail B1

                      -> USA    -> mail B1

    Is there any possible when I set the city and let system caculate the work time from Taiwan automatically?

    Hello.  I'm not sure I'm able to understand the case for your form properly.  Please do correct me if I'm wrong:

    You want your form to instantly send to China if the timezone is within a certain period while it is being sent, and it will change its email address going to USA once the time zone period is already within for USA? With this, it won't be possible to do such.

    But if I'm misunderstanding you, please do explain further what you're attempting.  Possibly giving an actual step by step process so to be understood better.

    Thanks.

    Sorry for the wrong discription of my questions.

    What I meant is if I set the timezone (UTC/GMT +8) in my default setting and I have two email addresses, one for bussiness hours (email A) and another for off bussiness hours (email B), when I set the drop down menu for differents contries which means different time zone, can users from different contries send the email to the right address based on my default time zone?

    example:

    1. users from Beijin (UTC/GMT +8) send the email in 11:00am and email goes to email A (my bussiness hours)

    2. users from Beijin (UTC/GMT +8) send the email in 9:00pm and email goes to email B (not my bussiness hours)

    3. users from Los Angeles (UTC/GMT -8) send the email in 5:00pm and email goes to email A (my bussiness hours)

    4. users from Los Angeles (UTC/GMT -8) send the email in 9:00am and email goes to email B (not my bussiness hours)

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    I hate to say this but what you are trying to achieved is not possible with JotForm. You can create conditions for sending emails but the problem is the Date/Time tool depends on user's computer time not on the time zone you have on your account and we also  do not have a feature for creating a time range. e.g. 9:00AM - 5:00PM.

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the answer.

    Or Is there any possible to set the datetime feature that shows my time zone and let users to choose which email address they want to send?

    rush question send to business hours' email.

    not that rush question send to off business hours' email.

    Another question is, If I set the dropdown menu by different type of questions and each type of quetion have 2 email addresses (on/off business time),  will it shows up in another dropdown menu after choosing the question type?

    dropdown menu 1(question A)->dropdown menu 2 (email A or email B)

    dropdown menu 1(question B)->dropdown menu 2 (email C or email D)

    Sorry I'm really not good at discripting my question, hope you can understand what I mean.

    Here's my form example

    I am sorry but this isn't possible with our Date/Time tool as of the moment. However, you can use 3rd party services which offer this feature and embed it to your form using Free Text HTML Tool so users will know what time is on your place. Here's a good one: http://localtimes.info/Asia/Taiwan/Taipei/getwidget/digital/.

    With regards to displaying another dropdown field, that's possible with Hide/Show Condition. Here's a more detailed guide to understand more about it. Conditional Logic on Forms

    Let me know if you have further questions. Thanks!
