Hyphen for phone number

I need to have a pre-typed hyphen between the first 3 number and the last 4 numbers

of all the phone number fields.

Is this possible?

It's possible using the Input mask option on the Phone Number field properties. 

Select a Phone Number field and go to Properties

Select Options and enable Input Mask as shown in the screenshot below -
