How to pre-fill form fields from other html-page content

Asked by Nepalkinderhilfe on January 05, 2013 at 12:17 PM

I present personal data on one html page and I like to take over e.g. the name of a person from the html page into the corresponding form field. This is to avoid spelling mistakes.

    How can I do that?

    Hi,

Unfortunately, I am thinking that this is something NOT possible with Jotform. Or, it could be possible but it would take a huge workaround for it since the fields are outside from Jotform.

    Thank you.

    Hi Welvin,

thanks for quick answer. But I can't believe, that it should not be possible, to use Javascript to fill a field in Jotform with any content?

    Hope there is a solution!

    Thanks,

    Juergen

    Hi Juergen,

Let us see if my colleague that is well verse with Javascript can help us with this, but again, I cannot promise anything about it.

    Thanks
