    Hi,

I'm using Jotform to initiate a payment through a Stripe account, is there a way to set up receipt of payment to the client whose CC I have charged?

    Thanks, Andrew

You should set up an email notification to get notified each time your form is submitted and received a payment, you could also set up an email auto-responder that will be sent to your submitter.

For both emails you are able to customize the template that is sent and add the needed info from the form, including the payment field will also include the Stripe payment details and it looks like this when received:

There's also a guide about Stripe info in emails that may help you: How-to-Strip-Payment-Labels-and-Separate-Payment-Info-on-Email-Alerts

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks

    Hi Roneet,

Thanks for your response. I'm a really new to JotForm. Can you give a little more guidance on where I would do this? Also, what if we don't immediately charge the client, and we need to do it manually at a later date?

    Thanks, Andrew

First, you need to set up an email autoresponder and then split the information in the payment field, here are the guides that will help you doing so:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/26-Setting-up-an-Autoresponder-Email

    https://www.jotform.com/help/231-How-to-Strip-Payment-Labels-and-Separate-Payment-Info-on-Email-Alerts

Regarding the second question, here's a guide that will help you with that: https://www.jotform.com/help/292-How-to-Enable-Payment-Authorization

    I hope this helps.
