If I delete a submission will it delete it in the associated Google Sheet?

No. The submission deleted from the form shall not delete the submission from the Google spreadsheet and it is required to delete it manually. Currently, it supports to create and edit the submission in the spreadsheet.

But if I edit the Google Sheet and delete rows doesn’t that cause problems
with JotForm writing into the sheet?

To clarify, do you want to delete your submissions?

Editing the Google Sheet may break the integration, and if you want to remove submissions you may need to remove them in the submissions page.
