How can I have multiple text fields on the same line?

I'd like the Name, Phone, and email fields all on the same line? I've tried shrinking and 'same line' under Advanced settings but when I try to drag them to the same line it's doesn't work.

Note that besides enabling the shrink property you need to increase the form's width as well, example:
