Unfortunately, the "Section collapse" fields are not part of the fields that are supported in fillable PDF forms. That is the reason why they don't show when you export your form to a fillable PDF.

Let us know if you have more questions.

    David,

Thank you for your response. The section collapse field serves a dual purpose on my form. It is a button that expands and collapses the items beneath it (up to the next section collapse field) and serves as a label for the section.

At the very minimum, the label aspect should carry over to the PDF. If nothing carries over, then the fields in the section simply appear with no context. If the section collapse button text carries over and is formatted as a  heading, it would s the serve as a label on the PDF form.

Thanks for your help with this.

I would suggest you to clone the form, then go into the form editor to remove the Section Collapse fields, and replace them for Header fields, example:

Once you are done with that, you may then export the form to a fillable PDF form. Let us know if you have more questions.

    BDavid,
That sounds like a good workaround. Thanks for taking the time to make the
    suggestion.
