How can I change the option text color?

I followed the instruction to find field id however, no matter how I modify the CSS that couldn't change the color.

I want to give each option a color so thats why I am seeking a solution, thanks

OK I can answer my own question, for your reference.

The color is changed after compile, its not showing instantly. So try to preview if nothing has changed, and you can double check you select the right element you want.
