Calculate Total Price and Redirect to External Payment Page

How do I calculate total price and also enable me send the url to an external payment page?

For you to be able to calculate total price you have many options such as using different payment platform wherein you define your product as well as its price and other related option like quantity selector. If the user purchase anything using your form, payment field will automatically calculate purchase total and will redirect them to the external site of payment gateway you choose.

Please take a look at this example wherein I used PayPal as my payment platform:

Note: If the user submitted his/her order, form will automatically redirect to PayPal to authenticate and verify payment.

If you are using PayPal for the payment integration, the form would indeed redirect to PayPal for payment.  If the user doesn't pay after they are redirected, the submission would be marked as an incomplete payment:
