Can you take pictures normally using the new PDF Editor?

PDF fantastic, but can you take pictures as normal?

Hey @Sylvester007 - Can you be more specific on what you meant by "can you take pictures as normal"? If you're building a PDF DOCUMENT, you can place pictures/images within the PDF using the IMAGE FIELD.

However, if you're building a PDF FORM, you can't add a file upload field that will accept pictures from your respondents. This is due to the limitations of a PDF file.

In case we misunderstood, kindly get back to us with more info and a better description of what you're trying to achieve so we can better assist you.

I know that I can insert logos, images and pictures when building the form, but understand that you cannot take pictures when using the form (as with your traditional non-PDF forms). Very sad, as your new PDF format would be absolutely perfect for my purpose, if the user could take pictures too. Is there no chance at all this could be arranged?

I also understand that the AUTOMATED COUNTER widget is lost with the PDF form, correct?

And what about SUBMISSIONS, can you still submit the new PDF form centrally and extract reports, statistics and trends.

Unfortunately, there is no way to capture a photo with Fillable PDF forms. And this due to limitations of the PDF format, hence even if we raise a feature request (with our Development team) I am not sure if there is a way to fulfill it.

Are you referring to Submission Counter widget? Then yes, this widget doesn't work on PDF forms.

Submissions through PDF form are gathered in a submission sheet. You can access and run reports as you would normally do with the web forms from your JotForm account.
