How Do We Display HTML on Custom Thank You Message

Asked by ecbudesign on January 10, 2013 at 02:16 PM

I'd like to let people enter text into a few JotForm fields, and then, display the text they entered, wrapped in HTML tags so that they can copy and paste hte HTML code into a WYWIWYG editor's HTML view.

For example, on submit, the THank Your Message would look like the attached image, which is a screenshot from the same form's Acknowledgement Email.  I copied and pasted the HTML of the Acknowledgemetn Email into the HTML view of the Thank YOu Message.

How do I get this result?  I've tried:

    1. wrapping the code in

    ...

    2. Encoding all characters as HTML character entitied (

    Input here

    as <h3>Input here</h3>

    Thank you for contacting us.

Your second method looks good, but you will also need to put each code into a span. Try to add the following code into HTML source of your Thank You Page.

    <span>&lt;</span><span>h3&gt;</span>Input here<span>&lt;</span><span>/h3&gt;</span>

Please feel free to contact us if you need any further assistance.
