Can we have our contestants submit .mov, AVI, FLV, WMV, MP4, and MOV. and AVI
video files? We're doing a songwriting contest where we want contestants to
be able to submit a short song video.

You can follow this guide on How to Change the Allowed File Types in the Upload Field.

Also, you are kindly recommended that you add other video types "mpeg, mpe, qt, rm, 3gp, mkv", as well. If you add only "mov, avi , flv, wmv, mp4, avi" type to your form, your users couldn't upload any other types of videos. If a user wants to upload "mpeg" type video, he/she will have encounter an error like this  ".mpeg has invalid extension". By adding other video types, your form will work properly and your users can upload any video types.

Hope this helps! But, please get back to us if you need further assistance.
